While contemplating purpose and meaning, over a summer spent answering phones at a brokerage firm, I discovered something important. I discovered I was witnessing the power of homeownership to transform lives, families, and communities. Right there, from that tiny reception desk, I realized the practice of real estate is a public service, homeownership is an equalizing force.
It's been 20 years, or so, and my love affair with real estate has only deepened. Devoted to the craft–skills honed through years of hard work and experience–I'm proud of the practice I've built and grateful for the opportunity to share it with you. Housing is a human right because, wherever we find each other, we all come from home.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I relocated from Seattle to Portland in 2005. When I purchased my own home here, I discovered a passion for real estate -- the challenge of the search, the complexities of the process, and the satisfaction and pride in owning a home. I went on to establish a successful retail business in Portland all the while monitoring the Portland real estate market. In time the opportunity arose for me to make a career change.
